Join Exit12 and Strongpoint in a 5-day creative residency at the Ranch.

The residency is a unique gathering where military veterans and military community members come together to move, create, and reconnect in the wide-open landscape of beautiful Magdalena, New Mexico. During the residency you will be a part of a powerful and moving creative process with an optional performance and the end.

Led by professional artists with lived experience in the military the process will use storytelling, movement exploration, and shared reflection, to build In-Trench, an immersive choreographic experience, with your fellow veterans.

You moved in the military so no dance or arts experience is required—just a willingness to show up, try something new, and be part of a supportive, mission-driven cohort.

Step away from the day-to-day, breathe deep, and discover what becomes possible when creativity and camaraderie meet under the New Mexico sky.

Residency Features:

• An all-inclusive residency with movement & storytelling workshops, outdoor experiences, and moments of collective reflection for veterans, military family members, military spouses, or military caregivers.

• A culminating immersive performance that will educate audiences about service and sacrifice.

• Collaborative creation with local artists and musicians.

Who Can Join?

• Active duty military, military veterans who live anywhere in the continental United States.

• No art or dance experience required.
