Returning to the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum this spring, Exit12 will workshop and dialogue about the effects of war on veterans, refugees, and civilians. Starting in April Exit12 will hold an eight-week series of creative workshops, joined by a cohort of 20-30 persons who have experienced global conflict. Exit12 will hold space for participants to share stories about personal and cultural identity and the ways that war has shaped those identities. By sharing these stories, we aim to build cross-cultural dialogue, empathy, and healing.⁣⁣

This project is make possible by a partnership with the Intrepid Museum through a Creative Forces Community Engagement Grant, part of the National Endowment for the Arts’ Creative Forces® initiative, in partnership with Mid-America Arts Alliance.
